Our school is certified to teach varies of different Allied Health Courses and approved by ODH for our Nurse Aide Training Course.

COVID Tests and Screens may be conducted on all students that enter our Lab and/or Clinical Site. If a student tests positive for COVID 19, 1^st Choice Career Centers will follow CDC recommended guidelines and the positive student may be placed on hold from attending in-person classes and the hold duration will be based on CDC recommendations.

CNA (Nurse Aide)

CNAs play an important role of the healthcare team. They provides direct patient care, emotional and physical support for the residents and resident’s family members. This field is in high demand and you may be employed at nursing homes, hospitals, and home care.

Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomy technicians work in hospitals, laboratories, blood donor centers, and physicians' offices. They are responsible for drawing blood to be used for diagnostic testing, transfusions, research, or blood donations.

EKG Technician

Electrocardiograph or EKG technicians are a valuable part of the healthcare team. They are professionals who perform diagnostic tests that help doctors identify cardiovascular (heart) problems in patients.

Medical Assisting

Certified Clinical Medical Assistants are multi-skilled allied healthcare professionals who may administer medications, assist with minor procedures, record vital signs, take medical histories, prepare patients and rooms for examinations, handle laboratory specimens, provide patient education and much more.

Medical Office Assistant

Medical Administrative Assistants perform various administrative tasks depending on the day-to-day demands of the office. Using your knowledge of medical terminology and software applications you will be charged with helping to operate the front end medical office.

Billing and Coding

Medical billing and coding specialists are integral members of every medical facility. In our Online Medical Billing and Coding Course, we teach you the precise skills you need to accurately convert patient information into insurance claims. Our online platform and lessons give you what you need to complete the program in just 6 weeks!

FREE Home Health Aide

Become a Certified Home Health Aide and enjoy 1 on 1 personal care with your clients and help them remain at home. This is a FREE Community based class for those who like to be employed by a local agency to work as an HHA

DODD Medication Administration

The medication course is a 14 hours course through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. We will teach you to safely adminster medications. Click below to see if you qualify.
